The afternoon began at 2:00 with 100 Grannies leading a Climate March. At 4:00, they began with a welcome by a Baptist minister, followed by short talks by a rabbi, a Muslim leader, representatives for Veterans For Peace, Physicians For Social Responsibility, 100 Grannies, African-American gospel singers, a Universal Dance of Peace and ending with a Native American leading the people in a blessing of the four directions.
