CNV Action at Volk Field Air National Guard in Wisconsin

On Tuesday September 23rd, activists gathered at Volk Field Air National Guard in Wisconsin. Volk Field pilots are being trained to operate Shadow drones which are used for surveillance and target acquisition. The held signs that said “Drone Warfare Starts Here” and they had a kite flying with the sign “Fly Kites Not Drones.

They also held a solemn vigil against drones at the site, remembering the victims that have been killed by drones in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Gaza, and other places around the globe.
