CNV Atlanta,GA 2015 Peace Vigil (3) smallOur CNV action went well. We joined the “Stand for Peace” group at Peachtree and 14th Street. This group has met at this corner weekly for 13 years. A few “Grandmothers for Peace” also joined the vigil. All of us enjoyed spreading the message of peace and nonviolence at this busy intersection. One of our members made about 100 peace cranes which she and others passed out to all who came by. It was obvious that the cranes provided food for thought and brightened up a lot of peoples’ rainy day.
