By Sr. Anne Bosserman, SNJM

On the International Day of Peace Pax Christi Spokane co-sponsored with One Peace-Many Paths and Gonzaga Universities Institute for Hate Studies an event to be in solidarity with people around the world. The evening event included a young man Balinda Kizombo from the Congo doing a rap on the UN Global Goals and a flag ceremony where each country was named and all responded “May peace be in . . .” then we placed the flag creating a circle. Sr. Kay Heberling closed the event singing the Prayer of St. Francis.   Awesome evening.
