Birmingham,AL Promotes Peace and the Planet

Posted by Ryan Hall

During the Campaign Nonviolence Week of Actions, organizers held peace vigils in Birmingham and also held a workshop called “Coming Home to Earth” with Sr. Jeanne Clark, OP, an Amityville Dominican and founder of the group Homecoming, which works to raise awareness on issues like climate change, respect for the earth, etc. (See photo above).  Shelley Douglass reported that the workshop “drew over twice as many as we expected, so we were very happy.”
