La Mesa Makes Peace

The Interfaith Council of La Mesa began a week of nonviolent actions by sponsoring its 4th Annual Peace Celebration in Aztec Park, in La Mesa on Sunday, September 17. Speakers included councilman Colin Parent, 12-yr-old Sikh youth Aseemveer Singh, and a performance by the First United Methodist Church of La Mesa choir.
