Nobody Is Above the Law: Nonviolent Action

Posted by Erin Bechtol
12.24.17

As the political climate becomes increasingly charged, citizens are standing up for what is right with nonviolent actions. While Donald Trump publicly considers firing Robert Mueller for his investigations into Trump and his campaign, organizers are preparing a reaction that will be impossible to ignore. Rapid response teams are ready to gather in the streets to stand up nonviolently for the future of our country.

Now is the time to join together and practice asserting the power of the people nonviolently over an administration that shows no regard for anything but self interest. Get involved. Check https://www.trumpisnotabovethelaw.org/ for information on how to get involved in an event near you. Be sure to adhere to the following Nonviolence Guidelines:

Nonviolence Guidelines

  • Our attitude will be one of nonviolence, openness and respect toward all we encounter.
  • We will use no violence, verbal or physical, toward any person.
  • We will not damage any property.
  • We will not carry anything that could be construed as a weapon.
  • We will not bring or use alcohol or any drugs (except for medical purposes).
