Sunnyvale, CA Contingent Protests Lockheed Martin

Posted by Erin Bechtol

by Marty Donnelly  // Part of the Campaign Nonviolence Week of Actions

As the world’s largest arms seller, Lockheed Martin profits from warmaking, misery, death and destruction. We went to Lockheed Martin in Sunnyvale, California. Remembering the 500 pound Lockheed Martin bomb that was dropped on a school bus in Yemen carrying children, we brought 40 pairs of children’s shoes to better remember the 40 children on the bus who were killed. There were about 12 of us holding signs when the Grim Reaper, who works with Lockheed Martin, showed up.
