Benin City, Nigeria Builds a Guide for Sustainable Peace

Faculty of Peace organisation celebrated its annual World Peace day at Imaguero College hall, Benin City, Edo State. At the programme we had notable guest speakers you spoke on the need to imbibe the culture of excellence as a guide for sustainable peace. Notable in the audience were university students and the youth corpers serving their father’s land. The guest speakers spoke on the need to pursue peace at all times and shun violence. They told the youths to take charge and change the mentality of get rich. In attendance was the Zonal Head of the Econonmic and Financial Crime Commission, Rtd. Conel Paul ogbebor,  Amb. Osayomore Joseph, Reps of NDLA, EDSTMA, Immigration, Airforce, and other Civil Society Organisations.

After the programme, the organisation paid a visit to Amadin Orphanage in Benin City, where they encourage the children to look beyond the circumstances of their birth.
