Wilmington, DE Welcomes Families to their March and Rally

Posted by Erin Bechtol

by Jeffrey Lott  // Part of the Campaign Nonviolence Week of Actions

We had 150+ marchers and a total attendance of over 300 at the accompanying rally, which included games, music, food, and tables offering information on jobs, health, peace activities, etc. Lots of children and families, as you will see! This was the high point of a week of actions that included 100 events (the last one registered on Monday). I’ll have more details on attendance, etc. once we receive our event sponsor reports and do our debriefing in October. For now, we’re tired, but happy with what we saw and did last week.
