Our objective is to contribute to reduce violence and conflict in the world through a practice that we call Silent Peace Walks. We believe that walking in silence for twenty minutes increase our Inner Peace. We believe that Inner Peace – the one that comes from practices such as silence, meditation, prayer, and silent walks — is the seed for all true peace. Peaceful people are the ones who contribute the most for a peaceful world, the ones who ultimately will bring about World Peace. It s by cultivating Inner Peace that we are better able to respond, during tough times, with words and actions that bring about peace. Inner Peace is how we are going to get to World Peace.
In an effort to bring people closer together, further unite our whole community, and allow participants to experience a greater sense of unity, we gather to mindfully walk together, with peace and presence.
