Every year on Sept. 21 the United Nations dedicates this day as an international day of Nonviolence, Cease-fire, Peace Awareness, and a day for making our world a less violent place through active nonviolent conflict resolution and prayer.
Please join Dignity Houston, and I in an evening of discussion, meditation, singing, and celebrating diversity. We will be gathering to learn how we can make more peace in our world through engaging in nonviolent action and communal prayer.
What do you need to bring?
1. An open heart
2. A friend or friends
3. Bring an instrument (hand drums, tambourine, acoustic guitar)
4. A blanket and any snacks if you wish.
After our event we will be going across the street to the Rothko Chapel and be participating in their event for Peace Day. All are invited to this as well. The Chapel asks that you give a good will offering of $10 for entrance.
Hope to see you there!
