HUMAN RIGHTS POP-UP MUSEUM: In celebration of International Day of Peace, Youth for Human Rights, Washington DC is hosting a human rights pop-up museum and celebration dedicated to Peace Day and human rights education. This special pop-up museum will showcase the history of human rights and celebrate the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The pop-up museum will also include artwork demonstrating human rights and the right to peace. Additionally a display of Peace Lights, a colorful light show in honor of peace will be displayed on the front of the building in the evening from 7pm – 9:30pm.
Join us to experience this interactive pop-up museum where people can learn about human rights and how they can promote the Right to Peace in the community. The exhibit is free to attend and includes self guided tours, film showings and fun activities. A great activity for children or students. All are welcome!
