Forests are a community, not a commodity.
The activities we announce and have organized celebrate the forest community, including all living entities within forests, in addition to trees, such as vernal pools, streams, ponds, soil, fungal networks and air within forests. We humans have so long viewed trees and forests as a resource and have comparatively speaking in modern times, have spent such a small amount of time with forests that we are numb to the violence done to them every day in all forested states with our tax dollars based on myths of a commercial view of this ecosystem interconnected with each of us. A national platform called Stand4Forests will be officially launched September 23-29. Do no harm to forest communities! Protect forests for themselves and all of us!Get Directions via Google Maps
