The Four Roles of Social Activism

Part of the World Social Forum Conférence

11 Août 2016  13h00 – 15h30

This workshop is based on Bill Moyers work as it appears in his book Doing Democracy. It describes the four roles of social activism : Citizen, Rebel, Reformer and Change Agent, both in their effective and ineffective aspects. We will explain and explore these roles in experiential ways, intending to lead to a better understanding of how all of these roles are necessary for social change.
