Where are we going-Christian Nonviolence

John Dear did an interview during his time at the Wildgoose Festival in North Carolina where he spoke about Christian nonviolence.  A podcast with John’s interview was recently compiled on this topic with numerous other speakers as well, including Brian Zahnd, Benjamin L Cory, Raborn Johnson and Mike Martin.

Being peacemakers in a world filled with conflict is very difficult. In this episode they discuss what Jesus’ teaching and example reveal to us about nonviolence. They also talk about war, capitol punishment, guns, nuclear weapons, and theology. This topic might make you mad, but it might also challenge you to live as a peacemaker.
