Pope Francis Calls on Trump to be Peacemaker

In addition to calling on Donald Trump to be a peacemaker, Pope Francis gave him a copy of the 2017 World Day of Peace message on “Nonviolence: A Style of Politics of Peace” during their meeting at the Vatican today (May 24, 2017).  The following news outlets mention this landmark papal declaration on nonviolence, which came in the wake of the Nonviolence and Just Peace Conference co-sponsored by the Vatican last year and where Pace e Bene took part:
