Encinitas, CA Connects with the Earth During Week of Actions

On Sept. 20th organizers in Encinitas,CA held an event called “Listen: Mother of Earth is Speaking” during the Campaign Nonviolence Week of Actions 2017. They shared an active prayer experience, a Listening Circle while observing the sunset over the Pacific. Mike Walsh, a participant and member of Pax Christi Southern California said, “With the sounds of nature all around us – sunset – sky, wind, and ocean – reflecting on our own natural disasters in the world… we regard ourselves as a human family co-existing within a larger web of life.
