Watch John Dear’s Book Tour Lecture in Sylvania, Ohio

Posted by Erin Bechtol

On April 10, John Dear brought his 50 city book tour for his new book, They Will Inherit the Earth: Peace & Nonviolence in a Time of Climate Change, to the Sylvania Francis Village, held at Lourdes University Franciscan Center.

In his lecture, Fr. Dear shows how our global epidemic of violence and war can only lead to catastrophic climate change and the importance of building the global grassroots movement of nonviolence to protect creation. To see the talk for yourself, watch the video below.

Thanks to WGTE Public Media and Knowledge Stream for filming and for the Sylvania Franciscan Village for hosting John’s lecture in Sylvania.
