People from all walks of life, in 120 cities from Hawaii to Maine, will engage the public on U.S. warfare, the devastation of the environment, violence to women and children, etc. According to Campaign Nonviolence, historically separate movements are joining forces to tackle these many forms of violence. “Some people haven’t heard of gendercide,” said Carol Crossed, Board member of FFNVC, “The systematic elimination of female children in some parts of the world due to gender discrimination is not only unjust and violent, but has created a demographic nightmare of horrific proportions.”
The events are hosted by Feminists for Nonviolent Choices (FFNVC), a participant in the Campaign for Nonviolence week and is in conjunction with Western New York Colleges: Campaign Nonviolence and Feminists for Nonviolent Choices.Get Directions via Google Maps
